Merek Security Solutions, LLC is committed to making merek.io accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to information is a matter of dignity, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
We work to ensure that our website can be used with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation, and that our content is understandable to visitors with a wide range of abilities.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and they are the standard most widely referenced in accessibility law and policy. Our target for merek.io is substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
We consider accessibility throughout the design and development of this website. Our practices include using semantic HTML and a logical heading structure so that assistive technologies can convey page organization; providing meaningful text alternatives for images and non-text content; supporting keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator; and designing for readable color contrast between text and background.
We also aim to write in plain language, to label form fields clearly and pair them with helpful error messaging, to build layouts that respond to zoom and to a range of screen sizes, and to respect operating-system preferences such as reduced motion. Accessibility is included in our review process when we add pages or features, and we periodically evaluate the site using a combination of automated tools and manual testing, including keyboard and screen-reader checks.
Despite our efforts, some content on this website may not yet be fully accessible. Limitations can arise in older content published before our current standards were adopted, in documents and media provided by third parties, and in embedded or third-party components that we do not fully control. When we identify a barrier, we prioritize it for remediation and, where an immediate fix is not possible, we work to provide the same information through an alternative means. If you encounter a barrier that is not described here, please tell us — reports from visitors are one of the most useful ways we find and fix problems.
